    The present invention further relates to a ferrule for use in such a system.
    Background of the Invention It is well known that the location of a golf hole (or simply referred to as a hole) is marked with a flagpole (or simply referred to as a rod) having a pennant or flag at the free end and the rod being located in the center of the hole. by means of a hollow cup located in the hole and below the level of the surrounding putting green.
    It is also known that the part of the rod which is placed in a hole comprises a ferrule which fits in a ferrule base of a hollow cup.
    With the golf rule that the rod must be in the cup during play, time is saved on the course.
    The risk, however, is that the greenkeepers will be forced to do some more work. The edges of the hole can easily be destroyed when the ball has to go up the hole when the flag is in. For example, if the flag is not picked up before the ball is picked up, there is not enough space for both the flagpole, the golfer's hand and the ball.
    One of the disadvantages of the prior art is that, firstly, the ball is not easier to get out of the hole and, secondly, is not easy to get out of the hole without damaging the hole edges and / or the grass.
    The object of the invention It is thus the object of the invention to provide a system which is an improvement of the prior art, wherein the ferrule has a roundel which forms a cone / bowl so that the ball is capable of to lie on a disc placed in the groove of the ferrule, and where the ball is able to lie up against the rod when the ball enters the hollow cup where the rod and ferrule are located. It is also an object of the invention to provide a pad which is elastic and thus flexible and resilient so as not to cause damage to the green or hollow edges. It is also the object of the invention to save time when the ball is going up the hole. Description of the invention According to a first aspect of the invention, the above object is achieved with a system comprising flagpole and ferrule for use in marking a golf hole as initially described and as described in the preamble of claim 1, wherein the main part of the ferrule further comprises a mounting means as well as a replaceable elastic pad arranged on the mounting means.
    The mounting means is located on the outside of the ferrule and may be a projecting flange with one or more pins for holding the disc or it may be a groove which is, for example, molded or turned into the outer surface of the ferrule. Alternatively, there are no mounting means at all, as the disc can be molded in such a way that the inside hole diameter of the disc is smaller than the outside diameter of the ferrule, and so that the disc must be tilted on the ferrule and thus alone with its own clamping force be able to maintain its position without mounting means on the ferrule. By fasteners is meant indirect or direct fasteners. Examples of indirect fasteners are glue or silicone that holds the rod and ferrule. Examples of direct fasteners are threads, snap couplings and bayonet couplings.

In a preferred embodiment, the rod will be made of fiberglass, as this makes it possible to produce flagpoles which, due to price, weight and workability, are attractive. Alternatives can be, for example, other composites.
    In another aspect, the present invention also relates to a system in which the mounting means is a circular groove, wherein the circular groove is inclined 5 to 85 degrees relative to the perpendicular to the ferrule, however preferably 10 to 30 and further preferably 20 degrees and thus forms an acute angle. towards the top surface and an obtuse angle towards the bottom part of the ferrule.
    This makes it possible to optimize the inclination of the disc so that the ball remains on the disc when the system is lifted out of the cup. This adds the necessary rigidity to the disc so that it is able to lift the weight of the ball. The groove in the ferrule and the cone-shaped roundel also ensure that the rules from R&A and USGA are complied with. R&A (The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews is one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, and is the governing body for golf over large parts of the world) and the USGA (United States Golf Association which is the national governing body for golf in the USA, its territories and Mexico) describes that there must be a minimum of 4 ”from top grass edge to bottom. By bottom is meant where the ball rests in the hole with or without flagpole. In addition, the upper edge of the hollow cup must be located at least 1 ”from the upper grass edge. The roundel groove is designed so that the roundel forms a cone / bowl, and so that the ball lies up against the rod when the ball enters a golf hole where the system is already inserted.

    The elastic and flexible rubber pad, which in a preferred embodiment is made of 5 mm EPDM rubber, can be bent so that it does not damage green or hollow edges. In another aspect, the present invention also relates to a system in which the bottom part of the ferrule comprises at least two outer circular grooves for receiving an elastic material.
    This makes it possible to guide, insert and hold the ferrule in the ferrule base of a golf cup, where the elastic material in a preferred embodiment is O-rings of an elastic and flexible material such as rubber.
    In a further aspect, the present invention also relates to a system in which the rod has an extension of 2 - 3 meters, however preferably 2% meters in the direction of propagation of the rod between the first end of the rod and the second end of the rod.
    This makes it possible to see the rod from a very long distance and it also makes it easy to grab the rod, where there is a certain balance and where the rod can be lifted up from the hole at the same time as the ball.
    In yet another aspect, the present invention also relates to a system, the system further comprising a hollow cup with a ferrule base, the hollow cup being calculated for the inner dimensions of a golf hole as well as the outer dimensions of the ferrule. This makes it possible to manufacture, sell and supply a complete unit, where the rod, ferrule and cup fit together, and where the unit is thus ready for use.
    Golf holes have a standard dimension. The adaptation of the hollow cup to the golf hole will thus also be standardized. Rod and cup, on the other hand, can be manufactured in different ways, which is why it is important that these elements in the system fit together so that they are ready for use.
    In a further aspect, the present invention also relates to a ferrule for use in a system such as the above.

    A system comprising a flagpole and ferrule for use in marking a golf hole, the flagpole comprising a first end attached to a ferrule and a second end intended to be a freely visible end with a flag, and wherein the ferrule comprises a main body attached to the flagpole and a bottom part intended for placement in a hollow cup with ferrule base, wherein the main part of the ferrule comprises a top surface with a flagpole hole for receiving a flagpole, wherein flagpole and ferrule are fixed by fastening means, characterized in that the main part of the ferrule further comprises a mounting means and a replaceable elastic pad mounted on the mounting member.
